Today is the day before my wife’s 30th birthday, meaning it’s been a week of festivities only to be followed by another week of the same. I love getting to spend their favorite kind of day with them: Today we walked to the farmer’s market then read on the balcony, and tomorrow we’ll walk to dinner and eat cake on the roof.

We’re also celebrating my 30th birthday, which extremely failed my expectations as I spent it just with Suze and my parents at my childhood home. Suze made me a gift, just like I took one of their fave shirts with a stain on it and embroidered over the stain for them. You’ll see it on the ‘gram tomorrow, I’m sure.
