Reading about books is a hobby in itself, I bring a plastic figurine to the beach again, and how I'm dealing with the heatwave in the PNW.
Lately, any time something happens, Suze and I look at each other and say, “we need to touch the ocean about this.” It should be expected from two water signs that we need to process our feelings, good and bad, through the largest body of water on Earth. In Asheville, we relied on the rivers and creeks of Appalachia, but being just 90 minutes from the Pacific Ocean is a game changer.
All this to say, we took an impromptu day trip to the Oregon Coast on Wednesday that was the highlight of my week.
