The surveillance state makes me giggle, guess which Drag Race contestant is banned from Twitter, and my fave influencer does a bad tweet.
Happy wedding day to Charli xcx and her now-husband whose name I only know to be “George”!!!!! After getting married in a non-traditional wedding dress, every time I see a baddie in white at their wedding I’m like, okay, but why did you choose that? But maybe that’s just me.
Caught cheating at the Coldplay concert
If you’re online in any capacity, you’ve likely seen this video of a couple evading the audience cam at a Coldplay concert, to which Chris Martin says, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” Millions of people across the world have seen the tech start-up Astronomer’s CEO and HR chief cheating on their respective spouses on the little screen in their hands.
And while, yes, this is very funny, it also gives raises concerns regarding everyone’s privacy in the surveillance state. Cheating is deplorable, and still, no one deserves to have their life threatened online en mass after having their cheating ways exposed to the public. Plus, as Jason Koebler tweeted, “It's bad because this stuff is happening to random people on TikTok for such crimes as ‘sitting silently on a plane’ or ‘being attractive’”.
Speaking of cheating exes…

Even MY favorite influencers have bad takes
Bosco come back we need u
One of my favorite schticks on the internet is when a user pretends to be a big name or brand, but from their main account. Like, when Jaboukie was imitating the FBI back when blue checkmarks still meant something, I was laffing. Now, Bosco is fronting as the official Drag Race account on Twitter, to the point that she’s gotten suspended for “violating X rules".
